Prime Resin Coatings

About Prime Resin Coatings

Prime Resin Coatings installs metallic epoxy, flake floors, garage coatings and polished concrete in Sarasota and along Florida’s Gulf Coast. It also offers polyaspartic coatings, pool-deck finishes and commercial epoxy for shops, warehouses and kitchens. Customers can compare eighteen flake blends or choose a custom metallic mix, with samples shown under different lighting. The company’s process begins with checking the slab for moisture, cracks, oil and previous coatings. It then diamond-grinds the surface, repairs cracks, pinholes and spalls, and applies primer before the decorative system. Metallic patterns are worked by hand; flakes are broadcast into the coating. The company states that the same installer handles the project from quote through the final coat. Customers can send photographs and approximate dimensions to begin discussing a quote and installation schedule.
